Tough Monday Night and Tuesday Morning

Well, Monday night did not turn out! Berto was so excited all Monday because he took a half day to work on our Deck he is building from scratch! DOING AN AWESOME JOB! He had a couple of guys from the neighborhood (Bryan and Terry) help him on Monday afternoon with tools and sweat! Well amonst this glorious deck, Lobo got out from the gate being open! He is gone! Last time he got out, we found him after a week! So we have hope and he had his vet tags on and if someone turns him in, will call us! Travis was so sad! He cried for a bit and then asked if he could have another Hermit Crab. Alex just points outside and says Lobo...keep your fingers crossed we get a call!

So Lobo leaves and then a Dr. Appt at 8:30 Tuesday morning ended up being an all day event! We got to Dr. Lenarsky's office and they pulled blood again with same numbers as last week! Since his tommy is still hurting they then sent me to Ultrasound just to make sure!!! They looked Great, so, ran more blood numbers and this is what they have told me! I also called his pediatrition to see if this would be her opinion too, but she stated it should not have anything to do with his tummy pains- unless his stomach is so sensitive! She told me to wait a week with the treatment for his stomach (Stool softner due to all the iron he is taking to regulate him- 2 Teaspoons a day) Maybe this from the internet will better explain! Key word in the diagnosis is Transient- meaning Lasting only for a short time (dictonary version). Short time meaning up to 90 days!
Less common form of anemia resulting in absence of red cell precursors in the bone marrow is transient erythroblastopenia of childhood (TEC). This is a slowly developing anemia of early childhood (usually 18-26 months old) characterized by gradual onset of pallor. As the name suggests, all patients with TEC recover completely without any treatment and with no sequelae. The cause is unknown, although researchers have proposed a number of viral and immunologic mechanisms.

Praise God, but will be a rough couple of months! Continue to Pray! Berto and I have not slept for 4 weeks now! Alex continuely gets up crying Ow-Ow-Ow on his tummy! Just can't get through the night yet.
