Travis has been asking for months about going to the Dallas Museum of Art to see King Tut. Not sure if I had talk about it or what. He does see the signs for it on our way to church. So, since it was raining here in the Dallas Area, when we got up, I asked him he wanted to go. We took off. He was pretty excited, but didn't really know how he would react to it all. I believe it was a little overwhelming due to the amount of people present and not understanding the culture- He is only 7. He liked looking at everything and we talked about as much as I could. In boy fashion- his favorite parts were the x-rays of King Tut and how old he was when he died. Oh, he also liked that no one knew how he died and listening to the theories. We also got to watch a 3-D Egypt movie on the daily living of Egyptians in that time and the movie was more about King Ramses and Queen Nefretiti and the multitude of Pyramids they built in honor of themselves. This culture is just so interesting to me. Also the ability to share with Travis how this History relates and is talked about in the Bible. I was able to talk to Travis about Moses and the movie that he has seen many times- The Prince of Eqypt. We could not take any pictures. :<(
We also got to spend some time at the park feeding some ducks and Travis trying out his new Rocket Fishing Rod he bought with B-Day and Christmas money he saved up.

Had to throw in a Baseball picture! We have only had 2 games and 4 rain outs! Hadn't played much for his first year.
