Dallas Zoo 1/19/09

Berto and I were at home by ourselves Monday morning and I was set to go to work.   The boys had spent the night with Joe and Nery because Ruthie was spending the night.  Well, Tony called and said he was thinking about taking all the girls to the Zoo.  So he called to ask if Travis and Alex wanted to go.  Berto thought that would be a fun thing for us all and we decided to all go to the Dallas Zoo.  So I called my boss, took the day off and we all headed to the Zoo to see the animals!

I'ts Dino time

Grandma Edney called last weekend and told us not to make any plans because she had a surprise for the boys. We loaded up and took a drive without telling the boys where we were going. We got out of the car and hopefully these pictures will show the expression on the boys faces when they saw their first ever Dinosaur Museum. I got to admit it , I liked it too. Thanks Grandma

The boys looking for Granny Granny, I mean Fossils

This picture is actually cool, if you look at the
background the dinosaur was shooting water
out of his mouth. Yes I got wet , but so did
Grandma!!!!!!

You didn't think we were going to leave without
taking a picture with T-REX did you?????

Home Sweet Home Christmas

Santa came to our house. Of Course Travis was excited- Santa finally brought him a WII. Alex was really cute this year with knowing about Santa and realizing how it all works. God was Good for us in 2008 and allowed us to do and provide to our family. We talked to Travis this year about- St. Nicholas and not Santa Claus and he now does not refer to Santa Claus, but St. Nicholas. We pulled information off the Web and talked to him about what he sacrificed and gave up to help others and the Church ordained him as a SAint and that is how Santa Claus Came about. He hasn't really put it together yet (that we are, well you know). It was very cool to see his love when after we ran to the front room and opened presents, he went to his knees and started praying and thanking God! God is Good!

For all you Texas Fans.

Irizarry's Christmas Eve

Well the whole group went to Papa Joe and Tata's house Christmas Eve! We were joined by His brother, wife and the girls and then Melvin, wife and Marco. Orlando and Fam is in Virginia and could not make it. What a Great Time with them! Santa came to see us all and Alex ran from him and the older kids, Travis and Rebekah, stated screaming- That is Papa Joe! Was quite funny.
