What a Great Time to celebrate Independence! Every Holiday I sit and begin to reflect just what it means. Maybe it is because I am getting older and each holiday Travis is now starting to ask about them and why. This one is pretty special also because Berto's brother is back from Iraq. The sacrifice, the cost, the meaning. It just floods. I think of those who didn't get the outcome they wanted and have given up their freedom to go grab a cup of coffee because they are in a barrack or on a line to defend our Independence. This has allowed those of us who go to work everyday, spend time with our families, choose our paths and lives in the way we feel is the right way...to Have that Freedom to do it. JUST AMAZING to me that sacrifice and cost. I hope and pray that God surrounds those who do his will for the benefit of me and my family! I pray that for not only those who protect our independence choose God as their Guardian, but everyone who reads this!
The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes. Deuteronomy 1:30
For God so Loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Little Late, but Happy JULY 4th! Oh, added some pictures of the park that weekend and Chuck E Cheeses.
