Well the weekend started with some cousin time! I accidentally forgot my new camera. I know, I know. We went to Tony and Steph's house and the boys played with all 3 girls. Yeah, think a little to much girl time. You see they are used to dressing up and playing tea, etc. While we were outside in the garage helping them pack (they are moving in 2 weeks), Rachel decided to take off all of Alex's clothes and dressed him up. I think it was probably a good thing I didn't have my camera or in about 15 years he would be hurting me bad for that one. It was a great time.
Sunday was church and my mom and dad's. Alex got ready and wanted to put on his new backpack- he is soooo in to Diego!

Monday, started out as any other day. Getting ready for school- Breakfast, dressing and backpack finding. Out the door. I was heading to Grapevine so Berto took Travis and I took Alex to Tata and Papa Joe's. About 11:30 the call came in...Our oldest child had hurt his self in school. Not like the first time a couple months ago. A bleeding, hurting, hospital trip taking hurt. Berto was at the house (he is hurt and on medical leave- Torn Leg Ligament) and he got the call next from me in a PANIC! If being a police officer's wife ever needing to come in handy, this was the time- I had my speech prepared if I got pulled over! I made it from Grapevine back to the Urgent Care Facility in 45 minutes. No need to use a speech. Thank you for the Prayers from some of you who knew what was happening that Travis, Berto and I all made it safe to the same place. Travis was GREAT! He was a real trooper! Telling what happened and explaining the game of tag and he was trying to keep from getting touched and slipped---Right into a Metal staircase leading to the playground Monkey Bars. OUCH!!!!!!! Dead Center of Forehead. He proceeded to get prepared for the stitches. No crying, no weeping, until he saw the Needle. I can't wait until he gets older and shows everyone just how big that needle was (from his perspective)! It hurt, it bleed, Berto and I got wheezy and had to sit. I made it about half way through the stitches. I even got dabbed with a wet cloth. I think I was just so nervous for him and he could feel the tugging of his skin to close the gash. They had to do 2 inner stitches (unfortunately saw my sons skull) and then 4 to close the outer. So, 6 Stitches. Battle scars of Tag! Praise GOD he is fine and things went great. Now the antibiotic time- to ensure no infection. I got some other close ups of his head, but didn't want to make anyone else wheezy and have to sit!
