The week in Review

Wells it started with some sun and fun. Last Saturday was so beautiful. Was cool but sun a shining! The boys played in the backyard and then a little later we picked up one of Travis's friends (Gentry) and went to the park at his school.

Monkey see, Monkey do! Alex wants to do everything Travis does at this time in his life. He wants to take him to school every morning and walks down the hall like he is in school. It is just so funny. It is also a time where I am saying NO- a lot.

We then headed to a Desperados game. My dad had some free tickets and thought the boys would enjoy the football game. Desperados won. It was a fun time. Travis asked a lot of questions (not that that is anything new) and Alex could not sit still (loves stairs). We road the Rail to the game and Alex keeps talking about trains now. We had a Great Time.

Next came my B-Day. April 23rd- I am official 34. It was great. Berto got me a new camera and perfume. The boys got me a cake and chocolate. I took the day off and didn't have to cook ALL day. Olive Garden for lunch and Tino's for dinner. My work sent me some beautiful flowers to my house. These pictures are from my New Camera!

Last week or so...

April 6- Berto at Nascar! It was Berto's brothers B-Day (40) and they went to Nascar. Had a good time also. Here is a pic.

I went out of town Thursday and Friday for work. WB Ranch in Whitney, TX. Every year my colleagues and I go to this beautiful ranch for our annual Retreat. We have the place to ourselves and enjoy the scenery. They have deer that are literally out the back door, antelope, fishing, air boat rides and much more. It is so nice because they really take care of us year after year. We order what we want (even though not on the chef menu) and at night they light the fire and leave. It is great. We did Smore's this year, Family Feud and scavenger hunts! Our theme was Going Green and we incorporated lots of ideas and provided The Green Book (Oprah favorite). I have to brag a little because a Colleague and I ran the show this year and everyone said it was the Best. We have gone the last 5 years and with budgets/expenses, etc. may be our last. We invited our bosses boss this year to try and get her to keep approving the expense. Will see next year. Here are so pics.

Annual Favorite Event

Well, one of our annual favorite weekend events came in town. DALLAS AUTO SHOW. We have gone every year since Travis was One. We packed snacks and headed out Wednesday night (least crowded night) and looked at all the cars the boys (including Berto) want to own. Here are some pics.

The next 2 are on Berto's Christmas List!
