Travis got his report card today!!!!! ALL A's and lowest scoring grade was 98! They do this cool thing in Mesquite to encourage good behavior, conduct, grades, community involvement, attendance, etc by giving dog tags to the kids and they have dog tag wearing days! The dog tags describe the character trait and are very colorful! He has 10! It is so neat to see him light up when he comes home and tells us he has another dog tag!!!
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. Psalm 143:10
Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as menpleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3: 22-24

DISNEY ON ICE: FINDING NEMO
Saturday morning we got up and went to see Disney On Ice: Finding Nemo! Didn't know if Travis would like it, but he had a good time! He gave me the play by play since he knew the movie! He was telling me exactly what was coming next. We took Aunt Stephanie, Rebekah, Rachel and Ruthie! Also our neighbors Jalene, Carson, Morgan, Mimi, Courtney and Finley went! Our other neighbor Bryan got some tickets from his work and shared the wealth! It was cool- Will be going again with the boys to other showings! Here are some pics! Didn't include all or this post would be really long!!!!

Marlin and Nemo going to school for the first time!

After Nemo got taken, Dory and Marlin looking for him!

Nemo in the dentist tank with his new friends!

Nemo's initiation into the tank at Mount Wannahawkaluggie!

Finally, after they are all together again!

THANKSGIVING
How do you put into words everything you are thankful for? Thanks-an expression or feeling of gratitude. No way to sum up the thanks I feel for my family, my relatives, my friends and even those we are not close to on a daily basis. Everyone we have had contact with has had a hand in the things in our lives. 100% of the times in my life that I thought were bad, turned into things that I am thankful for! Love, Life, Joy...I could go on and on! Hopefully what I CAN NOT put into words shows every time you see me smile, every time you see me look at the people I love, every time you see me cry (not always a bad thing), every time you see a laugh, every time you see me hug or other symbols of caring, every time I pray for each and every one of all of you! SO with a big warm heart I say THANK YOU!!!!
I will begin with the Start of the day at Alberto's brothers House- Jose Antonio AKA Tony Irizarry!

Next was my Aunt and Uncle's House- Kenneth and Elaine

Last, but certainly not least! MY LOVE, LIFE AND JOY!

Motorcops for Kids
Well, Travis had a fun time with Berto Sunday! Sunday was the annual Motorcops for Kids that Harley does with the Garland Police Department! Travis was so excited and he will tell you that there was over 4000 bikes and he was there to protect them from getting hurt while they road through Garland! Here are some pics!
Travis took this one while Berto was driving!

All the Bikes

One of many that he got to sit on and take his picture!

Had face painting, but Travis wanted no part!

Former Cowboy, Tony Hill with Travis! Travis got autographes for Him and Alex!

One of the Boys! Ask Travis about him stopping Traffic for the bikes! SCARED BERTO- Needless to say he sat in the squad car the rest of the bike ride! We got plenty of pictures of bikes riding that Travis took from the car!

Rudolph the red nosed Biker!

Travis's School Review
We got to hear such GREAT things about our First Grader! He excels in Reading, Writing and Math! He is reading so well that she anticipates that he will make it to Book Club level by December!!! Right now he is reading level 24 at 58 words per minute which in Mesquite ISD that is 2nd Grade level. She also commented on his writing skills! He does a great job of knowing when to use capital and to put a period at the end of the sentence! I don't think I put this in when his report card came out, but he got all A's! He loves school so much and jumps out of bed in the mornings! Well maybe not jump, but I have never heard him ever say he does not want to be there! I thank God that the teachers he has had are people that love to teach and have such a compassion for what they do! They truly are leading our son in the right direction and provide to Berto and I the things we need to do as parents to extend that teaching into our home on a daily basis! I Pray daily that God surround our children with positive influences on a daily basis for the rest of their lives, not only for support, but so they know the difference between positive support and negative! Oh and when they hear or see negative, they run away quick!

Weekend of Guests!
Couple of Berto's extended family members where in this weekend! Friday it was one of Berto's oldest cousins on his dad's side! He and his son came in from Puerto Rico for a Fencing competition in Downtown Dallas. We got together Friday night for dinner at Berto's parents house. Travis and Alex also got to spend alot of time with cousins, Rebekah, Rachel and Ruth! Fun time for Berto's parents because Rebekah, Travis and Ruth spent the night. Forgot the Camara...Sorry!
Saturday was Berto's cousin from his Mom's side- Yolanda and her grandchild Andres! Andres is 7 days younger than Alex, so they had some fun together! She came in Saturday as a surprise to us all! Berto's brother Tony and Stephanie tried to play a trick on everyone and used Andres as bait! Since it was a surprise Yolanda coming in, they told everyone they adopted a Boy and was coming to introduce him! They didn't fool me! I started asking away....they finally gave it up after couple minutes! It was a good weekend of seeing people we haven't seen before and catching up with those we had!

After the costume outside playing...Son after his father's heart! Berto has a jeep and Alex has one too! Alex pushes his around every single day!!!!!

We went walking around the neighborhood with our group of neighbor friends we spend some time with! It was a BIG group! Here are some pics!
